Sri Sharadamba Mahila Cooperative Urban Bank Ltd., was established in the year 1998 with Reserve Bank of India Licence No: UBD.AP.1584 P dated 20.05.1998. The Bank has registered with AP Cooperative Department with Registration No.G3068. The Bank was established in Cooperative Sector with sole objective of helping women in unorganized sector hailing from low/middle income groups. The Bank commenced operatons w.e.f.13.06.1998 and has completed 26 years of service to the needy women borrowers. Our Bank accepts deposits from the public irrespective of gender (both male/female).
All our Bank’s members are women and our Bank is solely managed by the Board with all women directors numbering seven. Our Bank is gradually growing year after year and is continuously in profits since inception.

Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad has permitted our Bank to open a Branch under Financially Sound and Well Managed Bank’s Criteria. Accordingly, our Bank has opened Branch at Payakapuram Area of Vijayawada on 22.12.2023. Our Bank has 4589 women members as of 30.06.2024 with a paid up Capital of Rs.110.94 lacs.
